Returning leftover/unused product for credit

Forté is not legally obliged to accept the return of goods supplied correctly in accordance with your order. However we are happy to accept the return of any leftover or unused goods that are part of our regular stocked collection. We are not liable accept the return of goods specially produced for or procured on behalf of the customer, except with our prior written approval and then only on such terms and conditions as we have specified.

• A restocking fee of $100 + GST applies to all returns
• Product to be returned must be unopened and undamaged
• Product to be returned must part of our stocked collection (not specially produced or procured for you)
• Permission to return must be requested within x days from the date of supply
• The original invoice number relating to the goods must be quoted and a reason for return given
• Goods are to be returned at your own expense to the store of our choice in original condition. Should Forté arrange the return of your goods to store, the freight cost will be deducted from your credit
• Forté reserve the right to reject returned goods that are damaged, unsaleable or not within the terms of our returns policy

Faulty, defective or incorrectly described product

At Forté we guarantee the quality of our products. Should a minor fault or defect be identified, we offer to repair or replace the affected product. If a major product fault or defect is identified, you are entitled to a replacement, refund or credit in accordance with New Zealand Consumer Law. Please note that damage as a result of incorrect installation cannot be compensated by Forté. We recommend the maintenance and installation guides provided upon the purchase of the goods are followed.

Should the product supplied be incorrectly described and/or if key features of the product were not made clear to you before purchasing the product Forté are liable to compensate. We are not liable compensate if you change your mind about the product when you were aware of its key features at the time of order and if the product was supplied as described.

Damaged or incorrectly supplied goods

At Forté we strive to deliver goods in full, on time and undamaged every time! In the instance that your product arrives damaged please contact our Operations Team as soon as possible to have the damaged product returned to our distribution centre and a replacement sent out. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you in original packaging with accompanying accessories and instructions.
