Urban Milan

Description
Urban Milan has a wear layer of European Oak in a soft caramel colour that is very neutral with warm undertones. It comes in a rustic grade which means the planks will contain a wide variety of knots, filled cracks and general feature. A light brushed surface effect gives the planks a subtle texture that follows the woodgrain pattern. This product is supplied already finished with a hardwearing matte lacquer which requires minimal maintenance. Milan will look the part in many interior styles, from classic to contemporary, modern and beyond.
Why choose Urban? People opt for Urban flooring where cost is critical but stylish and quality timber flooring is a must - think apartments, shop fitouts, high end rental properties and so much more! The Urban collection is 14mm thick, this is our thinnest engineered timber flooring product and has a shorter life expenctancy than our 15mm Smartfloor and our 21mm Ultra (hence the reason it is cheaper). The Urban wear layer (area above the tongue that can be resanded) is 3mm, meaning it can be sanded back 1-2 times over its lifetime. Due to its extra stable engineered construction it is likely to outlast a solid timber floor of the same dimensions.

Buyer Awareness
Colour and Grain Variation
Wood is a natural product and will vary in colour and grain pattern from piece to piece. Please understand that this product will differ to what is represented in a display panel or sample. This variation is part of the natural look and should not be considered a fault
Batch Variation
There may be a variation in colour between batches - it is recommended to request a current batch sample if this is of concern to you. Please note: There will be colour variation between boards which cannot be represented from a small sample.
Fading/Darkening over Time
Natural wood products react to sunlight, resulting in fading or darkening over time. For example, a natural non-coloured Oak turns more golden from sunlight exposure. This is a naturally occuring process and is not considered a product fault. In general, lighter colours tend to darken while darker colours are more likely to fade.
