Away from the tourist-filled streets of the Italian Riviera, the colour of locals' houses inspired the light, delightful Portofino. With authentic colour variations that subtly reflect everyday life, this natural-toned timber in feature grade will add a contemporary warmth and gently textured ease to interiors. A luxurious Silkmatte finish provides the raw and untouched look of an oil but with added durability and repairability, whilst a lightly brushed surface gives subtle texture to the wood's natural grain pattern. Periodic maintenance is required to nourish and protect the beautiful raw-look finish. Portofino will look the part in many interior styles, from classic to contemporary, modern and beyond.

Why choose Moda? Moda's engineered construction means it's built to last a lifetime. A medium-thickness 16mm range for residential or commercial use, it has a thinner wear layer that delivers fewer (two to three) resands than the 21mm Ultra collection but makes it more affordable. It offers more resands than the 14mm Urban Plank collection, and has all the visual interest but is less rustic than the aged-look Artiste. Other advantages you'll enjoy include its matching skirting boards, stair nosings and transitions, plus the at-home touch-up stain and wax repair kit that enables easy care and coordination with your cabinetry if desired.

Buyer Awareness

As this is a natural product you may experience the following:

Colour and Grain Variation
Wood is a natural product and will vary in colour and grain pattern from piece to piece. Please understand that this product will differ to what is represented in a display panel or sample. This variation is part of the natural look and should not be considered a fault.

Batch Variation
There may be a variation in colour between batches - it is recommended to request a current batch sample if this is of concern to you. Please note: There will be colour variation between boards which cannot be represented from a small sample.

Fading/Darkening over Time
Natural wood products react to sunlight, resulting in fading or darkening over time. For example, a natural non-coloured Oak turns more golden from sunlight exposure. This is a naturally occuring process and is not considered a product fault. In general, lighter colours tend to darken while darker colours are more likely to fade.

Moda Portofino
PLEASE NOTE: When calculating square meterage required you will need to allow extra for wastage. General rule of thumb is to allow 10% extra for square rooms, 15%+ extra for rooms with curved or angled walls and 15%+ extra for stairs.
