Millboard Limed Oak
Project Photos
Description
The look of beautifully sun-drenched timber. Limed Oak's pale, washed appearance is the perfect complement to outdoor spaces in sunnier climates. Moulded from real timber for an authentic textured look and feel, Millboard's Enhanced Grain collection recreates the subtle nuances that only natural wood can give.
Millboard is made from mineral fibres reinforced with fibreglass, with a surface layer of incredibly resilient polyurethane Lastane®. The highly specialized exterior coating is accredited with the highest anti-slip rating in the UK, even when wet and will not rot, warp, fade or splinter. Even around a pool where it is constantly battered by the hot sun and chlorinated water, the boards will remain unchanged.
Millboard decking requires no oiling, sanding, staining, painting or coating over the life of the product. Millboard has low expansion and shrinkage, so it can be installed with minimal gaps between planks. It has a similar hardness to a fine hardwood deck.
Matching edging, fascia and bullnose board are available for this product. You can use Millboard's handy Decking Calculator to work out the exact materials required for your project. Alternatively, Send us your plans and we'll work it all out for you!

Buyer Awareness
To recreate the aesthetic of natural colour variation, Millboard intentionally adds secondary toning colours. There may be variance within the same board or from board to board in colour tone. This means that samples cut from boards may vary from the general colour of the boarding.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure consistency some colour variation from batch to batch may occur. To avoid this, we recommend that you order all you need in one delivery. If you do have different batches it is best to mix the batches to blend the colours.
As with all things constantly exposed to ultra violet light and all weathers, colours will tone slightly in time, this is normal for decking. On delivery if you find the colour unacceptable or believe them to be defective in any way, do not install the boards.
